Rajasthan Royals (RR) won the match by 3 wickets with Delhi Capitals (DC) in the seventh match of IPL 2021 due to a great inning by Chris Morris 36 (18) not out.
Earlier RR won the toss and decided to bowl first, DC first batted and not made a good score 147/8 (20) against RR due to great bowled by Jaydev Unadkat 3/15 (4), and Mustafizur Rahman 2/29 (4). Only Rishabh Pant 51 (32) with 9 boundaries batted well from the DC side.
RR lose several wickets 104/7 (15.5) during chasing and large possibility to lose this match. But due to great batted by Chris Morris 36 (18) not out, smashed 4 sixes, RR won the close match by 3 wickets against DC before 2 balls left. The inning of David Miller 62 (43) with 7 boundaries and 2 sixes is also very important for winning this match against DC. Avesh Khan 3/32 (4), Chris Woakes 2/22 (4), and Kagiso Rabbada 2/30 (4) great bowled in this match from the DC side.
Due to great performance in bowling, Jaydev Unadkat 3/15 (4) and also made an important runs 11 (7) with 1 six not out for RR, was declared as the Player of the Match.
