She was working in Indamer Aviation Pvt Ltd in Mumbai. She had done graduation from Allahabad Central University and after that she went to Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Akademi, Rae Bareili. She is the first Muslim wman pilot of India and her childhood dream is to becoming a pilot. She had married with Kathuria, a lawyer and also has one daughter Bela. Her hobbies is liked to reading and gardening in free time.
