My opinion is that the friendship is better than boy friend or girl friend relationship. Friendship is a true and better understanding relationship of mutual affection between boys and girls. Friends are helped in emergency situations.  There is more trust in friendship as compared to girl friend or boy friend relationship. A friend is one who respects a person’s skill and helps or encourages them to make the right choices and do not get into any trouble or emergency situations. The bonding is very strong in friendship as compared to boy friend or girl friendship relationship.

A girlfriend or boy friend is a female or male friend with whom one is friendly, romantically or sexually involved. It is a long-term dedicated relationship or a usually a short-term committed relationship. Some girls or boys is become a girlfriend or boyfriend for a time pass and also for using an innocent rich boys and girls for money, blackmailing and many more activities. A girlfriend or boyfriend can also be termed as a sweetheart. There is waste of money, and time in boy friend or girl friend relationship. If a boy or girl is cheated in the boy friend or girl friend relationship then he or she is in depression. This relationship also increases the suicides case due to cheating.

In 1863 the word girlfriend was first used as a female friend and girlfriend was used as a sweetheart in 1922. The word dating is an American language.

Two different types of girlfriend are used by young boys and girls such as “girlfriend” and “girl friend” for different things such as when the word “girlfriend” is used by a woman or young girl for another female which is in a non-romantic and non-sexual context that is girlfriend” is used in for very close friends with no sexual relationship. The girlfriend or boyfriend is also in the case of lesbian, bisexual between two women and men.

The term “girlfriend” or “boyfriend” is also used in dating with a male and female friend for a time pass.  Some boys and girls is become a boy friend and girlfriend for financial support in big cities or in a corporate sector. It also lives without marriage symbol and become live-in-relationship partners. Some girls or boys act as professional girlfriends or boyfriend for making money and making a friendship with rich innocent boys or girls for money support. If she or he wants more money then starts a black mailing for money.

The boy friend or girl friend relationship increases a crime in a society such as rape, and murders. There is no trust between girl and boys but large possibility of cheating which increases the crime. At present, most of the crimes are based on girl friend or boy friend relationship. Girl friend or boy friend relationship also destroys the married life. It’s a new fashion for becoming a girl friend or boy friendship at present days.

Some girls or boys are becoming a girlfriend with manager for promotion in a company and friendship with our boss for a long term and better career. Many girls and boys are becoming a boy friend and girlfriend for a status symbol and also for popularity.

A girlfriend or boy friend can also be called a fan, devotee, lover beau, partner, suitor and a sweetheart. At present, some boys and girls are live together in live-in-relationship for support each other without marriage but there is no trust between them. The girl friend or boy friend relationship is based on false feeling between them, time pass and selfish friendship.
