Chinese company, Xiaomi, has launched two new variants of Mi TV 3S television in different sizes at an event in Beijing. The 65-inch T.V. will be available at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs 49,800) and the 55-inch T.V. will be available at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs 34,900). The company also introduced a Home Theatre edition at a price of CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs 59,800).
The 65-inch T.V. comes with a Samsung display panel of 4K (3840×2160 pixels) resolution and NTSC (National Television System Committee) 85 percent color gamut. The 55-inch offers a LG IPS display panel and a 4K resolution. Both the T.V’s have 64-bit Amlogic T966 processor and storage of 8GB.
Xiaomi Mi TV 3S offers a Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0 connectivity, display 4K content at 60fps and the H.265 hardware decoder. It has fifth generation image quality engine. It supports HDR and OpenGL 3.1 standard. There are four speakers for the good quality sound system and also has a Dolby and DTS hardware- level decoding.
The company has also launched the Lei Shi KTV wireless microphone which is used in the T.V. at a cost of CNY 599 and has a Cirruslogoc CS47L35 professional audio processor.
The Mi TV 3S Home Theatre Edition comes with 2.25-inch speakers at backside, a sound bar, and a sub-woofer.
