Chinese consumer electronics company, Meizu has introduced the M5 smartphone in Chinese market. It has various storage options for users such as 2GBRAM/16GB storage model is available at CNY 699 (roughly Rs 6,900) and the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage device is available at a cost of CNY 899 (roughly Rs 8,900). It offers a several features, VoLTE support, hybrid dual-SIM slot, octa-core processor, and a 13-megapixel camera.
The Meizu M5 comes with a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 Pixels) 2.5 D curved glass displays of a pixel density 282ppi. It has a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor with Mali T860 GP and chooses for user a 2GB or 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The smartphone supports dual-SIM and storage of 16GB which can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card.
The smartphone operates on Yun OS 5.1 Flyme OS 5.5 skin and has 66 hours of music playback. Two cameras are linked with the smartphone, first camera is placed at the rear of 13-megapixel and a second camera is placed at the front. The rear camera comes with a double LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens whereas the front camera has f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens use for selfies. Its size is 147.28×72.8x8mm, weighs 138 grams and has a battery of 3070mAh. It offers a various features such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS/ A-GPS support.
It is made up of a polycarbonate and has the power and volume buttons are placed on the right edge. It has 3.5mm audio jack, speakers, and the charging port are placed at the bottom of the smartphone. Various sensors are linked with the smartphone which include infrared, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and a magnetometer.
The Meizu M5 smartphone will be available in a several options colors- Mint Green, Glacier, Champagne Gold, Sapphire Blue and Matte Black colour from November. It replaces Meizu M3 smartphone
