Muslims in India observes Eid Milad-un-Nabi that celebrates the birthday of Prophet Mohammad. Milad un-Nabi is a gazetted holiday in India and is known as Nabi day, Prophet’s Birthday and Mohammad’s Birthday.

Eid-e-Zahra is also known as Eid -e-Shuja is a ritual festival which is observed by Shia Muslims after the end of the two-month mourning period (Azadari). Eid-e-Zahra is celebrated every year on the ninth day of Rabi Al-Awwal in the Islamic-Hijri calendar.
