It’s very proud moment for our country that Indian boxer, Lovlina Borgohain won the gold medal in the women’s 75kg middleweight  boxing event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. After getting the gold medal, India won 69 medals including 12 gold medals, 24 silver medals, and 33 bronze medals in the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Lovlina Borgohain won the final match 5-0 against China and won the gold medal in the women’s 75kg middleweight boxing event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. After getting the gold medal, Lovlina Borgohain become the second Indian boxer to win the gold medal after Mary Kom in the year 2014.

Earlier, Lovlina Borgohain won the bronze medal in the women’s welterweight at the Olympics Games in Tokyo in the year 2020. She also won the silver medal in the women’s 75kg boxing event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.
