It’s a proud moment for our country that Indian shooter, Neeru Dhanda created history and won the medal in the women’s trap shooting at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. After winning the medal, India won 47 medals including 5 gold medals, 21 silver medals, and 21 bronze medals in the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Neeru Dhanda was placed in the first position with the score of 28 points or hits and won the historic gold medal in the women’s trap shooting event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. Neeru Dhanda also set a new record with 28 hits in the Asian Games . After winning the gold medal, Neeru Dhanda become the first Indian player to win the gold medal in the women’s trap shooting individual event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. It’s a 5th gold medal for India in the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Neeru Dhanda along with Aashima Ahlawat, and Manisha Keer won the silver medal with the total score of 328 points in the women’s trap shooting team event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.
