It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian squash player,  Anahat Singh scripted history and won the silver medal in the women’s squash singles event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. After winning the silver medal, Anahat Singh become a first Indian squash player to reach final and won the silver medal in the women’s singles event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan

Anahat Singh lost the semifinal match 0-3 (4-11, 4-11, and 7-11l with Sivansangari Subramanium of Makaysia in the women’s squash singles squash event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. After winning the silver medal, India won 32 medals including 4 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals in the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Earlier, Anahat Singh won the semifinal match 3-2 against Satomi Watanabe of Japan and become the first Indian to reach the women’s squash singles final at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.
