It’s a very proud moment for our country that Indian athlete, Suchika Tariyal won the bronze medal in the women’s traditional 60kg MNA (Mixed Marital Arts) event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan. After winning the bronze medal, Suchika Tariyal become the first ever Indian woman to win the bronze medal in the women’s traditional 60kg MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) event in the Asia Games.

Suchika Tariyal lost the semifinal match against Teo Hui Hoon of Singapore 1-2 and won the bronze medal in the women’s traditional 60kg MMA (Mixed Marital Arts) event at the Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 in Japan.

Earlier, Suchika Tariyal won the gold medal in the women’s traditional 63 kg judo MMA (Mixed Marital Arts) event in the World Championships 2024 in Heraklion.
