It’s a heartbreaking, sad, and shocking news that Indian Indian director and producer, Kuku Kohli died at an age of 77 due to a heart attack on August 25, 2026 at the Kokilabem Dhirubhai Ambani private hospital in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Kuku Kohli gave his first movie or break to a popular actor, Ajay Devgan in the movie Phool Aur Kaante, which was released in the year 1991.

Kuku Kohli was also the second unit director of the popular romantic movie Betaab, to introduce the popular actor Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh and this was a golden jubilee movie, which was released in the year 1983. He also directed the popular or super hit movie, Phool Aur Kaante, which was released in the year 1991. Later, Kuku Kohli also directed several other movies including Suhaag, Haqeeqat, Kohraam, Anari No 1, Zulmi, and many more movies.

Kuku Kohli married with a popular actress Aruna Irani in the year 1990 but they have no children. Aruna Irani is the second wife of Kuku Kohli. Kuku Kohli have children from the first marriage with Rita Kohli have two daughters namely Karishma Kolhi, who worked as an assistant director in the movie such as Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and a second daughter, Pooja Kohli, a producer.
