Introduction – Vimi or Vimlesh Kaur Wadhwan was an Indian Bollywood actress was popular as the most beautiful actress, who worked in several movies including Hamraaz, Guddi, Patanga, Krodhi, Aabroo, and many more. Vimi was known for her great role in the movie Hamraaz, worked with a popular actor, Sunil Dutt, which was released in the year 1967. The real name of Vimi was Vimlesh Kaur Wadhwan and was born in January 943 in a Sikh family.

Early life and career – Vimi worked in the first movie or debuted in the popular movie Hamraaz opposite to Sunil Dutt, which was released in the year 1967 with big hit. She also worked with popular celebrities such as Ashok Kumar, Leela Naidu, Shashikala, and Nirupa Roy in the movie Aabroo, which was released in the year 1968. She also acted with a great actor Prithviraj Kapoor in the Punjabi movie Nanak Nam Jahaz Hai, which was released in the year 1969. She also appeared in the movie Patanga opposite to a popular actor Shashi Kapoor, which was released in the year 1971 but flop in the box office. The last movie of Vimi was Krodhi, and worked as the role of mistress of smuggler, Amrish Puri with other popular actors, Dharmendra, Zeenat Aman, Shashi Kapoor, Ranjeeta, Pran, and many more, which was released in the year 1981.

Personal life – Vimi married Shiv Agarwal, who is a industrial’s son and it was a love marriage, which against their wishes of her family members because of her age and caste difference. Firstly, Vimi met the first time with Shiv Agarwal where Ravi, music director, was introduced at a party in the city of Kolkata and later invited Shiv to Mumbai. He also Introduced B.R, Chopra in Mumbai so Vimi got his first movie Hamraaz, which was released in the year 1967. Later Vimi divorced Shin due to physical abused by her husband. After that, Vimi started her a textile business in the city of Calcutta but she failed and homeless. Later, Vimi had a relationship with Jolly, a film broker but Jolly ruined the career of Vimi by taking an image as a fake boyfriend and forces her into prostitution. Due to her painful past life, Vimi too refuges in alcohol.

Death – Vimi died at the age of only 34 due to liver disease, which may be caused by alcohol drinking or consumption in the general ward of the Nanavati Hospital in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The body of Vimi was disgracefully or shockingly taken to the crematorium through a thela hand cart.
