After winning the gold medal, India won 29 medals including 8 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Soman Rana won the historic gold medal with the best throw of 13.40m in the men’s shot put F57 event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. There is another Indian, Shubham Juyal won the silver medal with the best throw of 13.28m in the men’s shot put F57 event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. Cedric Idriss Lekezo Azamdzi of Cameron won the bronze medal with the best throw of 12.57m in the men’s shot put F57 event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Earlier, Soman Rana won the silver medal in the men’s shot put F57 event at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou in the year 2022.
