It’s a proud moment for our country that Indian boxer, Preeti Pawar created history and won the gold medal in the women’s 54kg boxing event  at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. After winning the gold medal, India won 24 medals including 6 gold medals, 12 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals in the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026.

Preeti Pawar won the final match 5-0 against of Scarlett Savannah of Canada in the women’s 54kg in the boxing event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. Earlier, Preeti Pawar defeated 5-0 Catherine Mwape of Zambia in the semifinal match in the women’s 54kg boxing event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Earlier, Preeti Pawar won the bronze medal in the women’s 54kg boxing event at the Asian Games in Hangzhou in the year 2022.
