After winning the silver medal, India won 26 medals including 7 gold medals, 13 silver medals,and 6 bronze medals in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Praveen Chithravel won the historic silver medal with the best jump of 16.58m in the men’s triple jump at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. Selva Prabhu Thirumaran of India also won the historic bronze medal with the best jump of 16.52m in the men’s triple jump at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. Jordan Scott of Jamaica won the gold medal with the best jump of 16.72m in the men’s triple jump at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.

Earlier, Praveen Chithravel won the bronze medal with the best jump of 16.68m in the men’s triple jump at the Asian Games in Hangzhou in the year 2022.
