Ankush Panghal won the final match 4-1 split decision against Dimeji Shittu of England and clinched the historic gold medal in the men’s 80kg boxing event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. Earlier, Ankush Panghal won the semifinal match 5-0 unanimous decision against Joshua Ofori of Canada in the men’s 80kg boxing event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.
