Tejaswin Shankar won the historic bronze medal with the score of 7976 points in the men’s decathlon at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. After winning the bronze medal, India won 21 medals including 5 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. Lindon Victor of Grenada won the gold medal with the score of 8096 points while Damian Warner of Canada clinched the silver medal with the score of 8036 points in the men’s decathlon at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.
Earlier, Tejaswin Shankar won the silver medal with the total score of 7666 points in the men’s decathlon at the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou, China. Tejaswin Shankar also won the bronze medal in the men’s high jump with the jump of 2.22m in the men’s high jump at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in the year 2022.
