Asmita Dey won the final match 2-1 against Heidi Quach of Canada and won the historic gold medal in the women’s 48kg judo event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026. After winning the gold medal,India won 18 medals including 4 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in the year 2026.
