Washington Sundar 50* (37), Nishant Sindhu 20 (18), and Jos Butler 19 (23) were good batting from the GT side. After this inning, GT set a low target of 156 runs in 20 overs for RCB to win the final match of IPL 2026.
During chasing, RCB loses 5 wickets, reached a target of 156 runs in 18 overs, and won the match by 5 wickets due to great batting by Virat Kohli 75* (42), Venkatesh Iyer 32 (16), and Tim David 24 (17). Rashid Khan 2/25 (4), Arshad Khan 1/32 (4), and Mohammed Siraj 1/36 (4) were good bowling from the GT side.
Virat Kohli (RCB), 75* (42), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting in this match.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (RR), was declared as the Player of the Tournament due to his great performance in batting in the Whole IPL Tournament.
