The average person has about five million hairs. Most hairs grow up to the age of six years, then fall out and new hairs grow. Ways to Protect Hair:
There are several ways in which individuals protect their hair from various types of damages. Some of these ways have been discussed her.
- Eat Healthy – Make sure that diet consists of whole grains such as oats, barleys, and broken wheat. They are all rich in vitamin B, iron, and zinc, which are highly beneficial for hair follicles. Take green vegetable such as broccoli and spinach, which are highly rich in folic acid, vitamin A and C.
- Stop Smoking – Smoking adversely affects the blood flow to hair follicles, which disrupts normal hair growth, thinning of hair and thus hair loss.
- Do not over wash – Too much over washing leads to getting rid of the scalp born nutrients, which are highly beneficial for hair and make them stronger. Overwashing make scalp dry and hair brittle.
- Combing of hair – Wet hair should not be combed, it leads to hair breakage. Always comb gentally.
- Adapt natural way – To stimulate hair growth, easily available ingredient is egg. Egg is rich in vitamin A, D, and E, which promote hair growth. A mixture of egg yolk and olive oil is beneficial for hair washing, Honey and onion juice can be used to massage twice a week.
