The main objective of this global day is to disseminate accurate information about Parkinson’s disease to people worldwide. This international day provides an opportunity for individuals to share information about the symptoms, causes, risk factors, complications, and prevention of Parkinson’s disease on several social media websites, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and many more, among people worldwide.

Parkinson’s disease is a movement illness or disorder that deteriorates or worsens with time for people across the world. As we know, the nervous system is a network of nerve cells that controls several parts of the human body including movement. The symptoms of Parkinson’s disease may start slowly and may be different for every individual. The symptom of Parkinson’s disease may be a barely noticeable or obvious tremor in one hand only, or occasionally a foot or the jaw. Parkinson’s disease is also a disorder that may cause slowing or difficulty in movement and may also cause trouble with balance, which increases the risk of falls. The other symptoms of Parkinson’s disease are that the arms cannot swing when an individual walks, can slow the movement of a person, the posture of a person may become stopped, speech changes, difficulty in writing and speaking, tremors in the hands or fingers, and many more.

The cause of Parkinson’s disease is unidentified or unknown, but many factors that cause this disease are environmental factors, genetic changes, head injuries, family history, and many more. Many risk factors of Parkinson’s disease are genetics, being male, increase in age, family history, exposure to toxins, and many more to enhance the risk of Parkinson’s disease in people worldwide Many complications of Parkins0n’s disease are difficulty in chewing and swallowing, trouble thinking early, problem in sleeping, rapid eye movement, emotional changes and depression, sleep disorder, and many more. The treatment of Parkinson’s disease is not known, but some medicines can help to relieve symptoms of this severe disease.
