The celebration of this international day started in response to the conflict between Israel and Egypt in the year 1973 between October 6 and October 25. This conflict is also called as October War, Yom Kippur War, or Ramadan War. McCormack brothers Micheal and Brian founded World Hello Day in the year 1973. Both brothers promoted the participation of people and governments to celebrate this global day across the world.
Significance – The main purpose of this international day is to make an effort for peace across the world. It is a global day to say hello to family members, close friends, colleagues, neighbors, and many other individuals. On this day, individuals learn how to say hello in different languages to their close friends, family members, neighbors, colleagues, and many more.
