Introduction – It’s a very heartbreaking, shocking, and very sad news that Indian actor, Govardhan Asrani died at the age of 84 on October 20, 2025. due to a long illmess in Mumbai, in the state of Maharashtra. Earlier, Asrani was admitted due to breathing issues in hospital. He was died at 3 pm in hospital due to a fluid accumulation in his lungs.

The real name of Asrani is Govardhan Asrani was an Indian actor and director, and was popular for the best role of jailer in the blockbuster movie Sholay with Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra, which was released in the year 1975.
