It’s very shocking, heartbreaking, sad, and unbelievable news that Indian actress, Priya Marathe died at the age of only 38  due to cancer on August 31, 2025 in Mumbai. Priya Marathe was popular for the best acting performance in the popular serial including Pavitra Rushta, Kasamh Se, and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.

Priya Marathe was born on April 23 in the year 1987 in Thane, Mumbai, in the state of Maharashtra and debut in entertainment industry in the Marsthi serial.Ya Sukhano Ya as the role of Pavani Adhikari in the year 2005. She also appeared in the role of Sona Ashok Deshmukh in the Marsthi serial Char Divas Sasuche in the year 2006. Priya Marathe  firstly worked and played the role of Vidya Bali in the most popular Hindi serial Kasamh Se, which was produced by Ekta Kappor and was telecasted on the popular channel Zee TV in the year 2008.

Priya Marathe was known in the role of Varsha in the most popular serial Pavitra Rishta, which was telecasted on Zee T.V. She also played the role of Jyoti Malhotra in the popular serial, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, which was telecasted on the Sony TV. She also played the negative role of Priya Mohite in the Marathi serial, Tu Tithe Me in the year 2012, which was telecasted on the Zee Marathi. Priya Marathe also appeared in the most popular serial. Saath Nibhana Sathiya and played the negative role of Bhavani Rathod who murdered her husband in this serial. She  acted better in Hindi serials as well as in the Marsthi  serials

In her personal life, Priya Marathe married Shantanu Moghe on April 24 in the year 2012 but they had no children.
