My Ziarat to Masjid Quba in Medina, Saudi Arabia During Umrah

Masjid Quba is a significant mosque for the Muslim community and is situated in the city of Medina in the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia. It was constructed in 622 CE and is considered as the first mosque, which was also built by Prophet Mohammad in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. I also visit Masjid Quba, where I pray or namaz during Umrah. Masjid Quba is a very important pilgrimage place for Muslims during Umrah or Haj.

Masjid Quba

As per historical Islamic texts, Prophet Muhammad stayed in the village of Quba for 3 to 22 days close to Medina during the migration (hijrah) between Mecca and Medina. The distance between Masjid Quba and Medina is about 3.7 miles (6km) It is believe that offering 2 rakat or optional namaz (prayer) is considered to be equal to performing one Umrah, Thus, Muslim pilgrims should visit Masjid Quba for ziarat during Umrah and Haj.

I also visited Masjid Quba in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia. During Umrah, I offer two rakat and optional namaz (prayer) in the Masjid Quba with great reward of offering namaz is considered to be equivalent to one Umrah. I was very excited and happy to visit Masjid Quba in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia.
