Earlier, India won 19 medals including 5 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze medals and was placed in the 24^th position at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020.

7. Nithya Sre Sivan – Nithya Sre Sivan won the bronze medal match 21-14 and 21-6 with Rina Marlina of Indonesia in badminton in the women’s singles SH6 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
