Its a proud moment for our country that Indian Para High Jumper, Nishad Kumar scripted history and won the silver medal in the men’s high jump T47 at the Paris Paralympics 2024. It’s the 7th medal for India including 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals in the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Nishad Kumar was placed in the second position with the best jump of 2.04m and won the historical silver medal in the men’s high jump T47 at the Paris Paralympics 2024. In the same event, Roderick Townsend-Roberts of America won the gold medal with the best jump of 2.12m and Georgii Margiev represent the Neutral Paralympic Athletes won the bronze medal with the best jump of 2.00m at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

Earlier, Nishad Kumar won the silver medal with the best jump of 2.06m in the men’s high jump T47 at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
