Alvida Jumma 2024

Alvida Jumma is also known as ‘Jumma Tul Wida’ and is celebrated by Muslims on the last Friday in the holy month of Ramzan before Eid-ul-Fitr worldwide. Alvida Jumma is the last Jumma (Friday) in the holy month of Ramadan before Eid Celebrations. As per the Islamic belief, Friday (Jumma) is a holy day and Alvida Jumma (Friday) signifies the last Jumma (Friday) of Ramadan before Eid Celebration. Alvida Jumma holds great importance which marks the most important event or occasion for Muslims all over the world.

Alvida Jumma means farewell Friday and is considered as the second holiest day in the holy month of Ramzan. We offer extra prayers which may take place at the mosque on the last Friday (Jumma) in the holy month of Ramadan. Fasting on Alvida Jumma (Last Friday) is considered extremely favorable and is believed to be rewarding for Muslims across the world. Alvida Jumma (last Friday) is celebrated indicating that the sacred or holy month of Ramadan is about to end.

As we know Friday has great importance in Islam for Muslima and observe special prayers that take at noon in the mosque. Muslims offer prayers at the mosque on the last Friday (Alvida Jumma) in the holy month of Ramadan. Alvida Juma (last Friday) is observed on April 5 in the year 2024 in the sacred month of Ramadan.  Alvida Juma signifies the end of Ramadan and is celebrated with joy and prayers. Muslims give Zakat – the act of charity for poor people on this auspicious day to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with full enjoyment with their families.
