Introduction – Indian popular ghazal singer, Pankaj Udhas died at the age of 72 due to a prolonged illness on February 26, 2024, at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The funeral of Pankaj Udhas was held at the Hindu Crematorium in Worli, Mumbai on February 27, 2024. Pankaj Udhas was known for his beautiful or popular ghazals across the world including India and is survived by his wife Farida with two daughters Nayaab and Reva. He also received India’s fourth-highest civilian award, Padma Shri in the year 2006
