Parakram Divas is observed every year on January 23 to celebrate the 127th birth anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose, a great freedom fighter. Subhas Chandra Bose played an important role and great contribution to the Independence of India which earned him the title of “Netaji’’ revered leader.

Subhas Chandra Bose is one of the greatest freedom fighters who played an important role in the freedom movement for the independence of India. He was born on January 23, 1897, in Cuttack in the state of Odisha. Netaji founded Azad Hind Fauj is also called as Indian National Army to fight with the Britishers.

Parakram Divas is celebrated as a National Festival that also remembers the sacrifice of Subhas Chandra Bose for the Independence of our country. The main purpose of this national day is to develop a sense of patriotism among Indian citizens for future challenges. On this national day, the whole country remembered a great leader and freedom fighter, Subhas Chandra Bose on this birth anniversary.
