Hallucinations may affect all 5 of your senses and are also a symptom of a psychosis-related disorder mainly schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a psychiatric condition which has severe effects on your mental and physical well-being. It may also negatively affect your brain works and interfere with your behaviors and memory senses. A nervous system problem just like Parkinson’s disease.
Hallucinations involve several sensing things including smells or sounds, which seem real but are not and these things are created by your mind. There are some common hallucinations such as hearing sounds such as footsteps, music, door or windows banging, hearing voices when one has spoken, and feeling sensations in the human body such as a crawling feeling on the skin or the movement of several internal organs.
It’s actually a puzzling phenomenon… One can hallucinate with opiates as well as without them under Medical conditions too… Paranormal activity is also tagged as hallucination by Medical Science.
