Indian women’s team defeated Japan by (2-1) in the bronze medal match and won the bronze medal in the women’s hockey in the ongoing Asian Games. But Yuri Nagai’s goal equalized (1-1) in the 30^th minute for Japan in this match. Later, Sushila Chanu Pukhrambam scored the winning goal from a penal score in the 50th minute and India won the bronze medal match by 2-1) with Japan in the Asian Games 2023.
