Alvida Juma is also called as ‘Jumma Tul Wida’ and is celebrated by Muslims on the last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan before Eid-ul-Fitr across the world It holds great importance that marks an important event for Muslims across the world. Alvida Juma means farewell Friday and is considered to be the second holiest day of the holy month of Ramadan.

As we know Friday has great importance in Islam and observe special prayers that take at noon in the mosque.  Muslims offer prayers at the mosque on the last Friday of Ramadan. Alvida Jumma is celebrated indicates that the sacred month of Ramadan is about to end.

This year, the last or Alvida Juma is observed on April 21, 2023, in the holy month of Ramadan. During the month of Ramadan, Alvida Juma marks the end of Ramadan and is celebrated with joy and prayers.
