India won the first one-day match by 5 wickets with Australia

In the first one-day match, India won the match by 5 wickets with Australia due to the great performance in bowling and batting. After winning the first one-day match, India leads by (1-0) in the three one-day series against Australia.

Earlier India won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Australia first batted and was all out at only 188 runs in 35.4 overs due to great bowling by Mohammad Shami 3/17 (6), Mohammad Siraj 3/29 (5.4), Ravindra Jadeja 2/49 (9), and Hardik Pandya 1/29 (5). Mitchell Marsh 81 (65), Josh Inglis 26 (27), and Steve Smith 22 (30) were good batting from the Australian side. After this inning, Australia set a target of 189 runs in 50 overs to win the first one-day match.

During chasing, India loses 5 wickets, reached the target of 189 runs in only 39.5 overs, and won the match by 5 wickets with Australia due to great batting by K.L. Rahul 75* (91), Ravindra Jadeja 45* (69), and Hardik Pandya 25 (31). Both Mitchell Starc 3/49 (9.5) and Marcus Stoinis 2/27 (7) were good bowling from the Australian side.

Ravindra Jadeja 2/46 (9) & 45* (69), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling and batting.
