India won the second test match by only 3 wickets with Bangladesh

In the thrilling second test match, India won the test match by only 3 wickets with Bangladesh due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning this match, India won the test series by (2-0) in the two test match series against Bangladesh.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first and was all out at only 227 runs in the first inning due to great bowling by Umesh Yadav 4/25 (15), Ravichandran Ashwin 4/71 (21.5), and Jaydev Unadkat 2/50 (16). Mominul Haque 84 (157), Mushfiqur Rahim 26 (46), Litton Das 25 (26), and Najmul Hossain Shanto 24 (57) were good batting from the Bangladesh side.

India was all out at 314 runs in the first inning due to great batting by Rishabh Pant 93 (104), Shreyas Iyer 87 (105), Cheteshwar Pujara 24 (55), and Virat Kohli 24 (73). Taijul Islam 4/74 (25), Shakib Al Hasan 4/79 (19.3), Taskin Ahmed 1/58 (15), and Mehidy Hasan 1/61 (17) were good bowling from the Bangladesh side. After this inning, India leads by 87 runs over Bangladesh in the first inning.

Bangladesh was all out at 231 runs in the second inning due to great bowling by Axar Patel 3/68 (19.2), Mohammed Siraj 2/41 (11), Ravichandran Ashwin 2/66 (22), Jaydev Unadkat 1/17 (9), and Umesh Yadav 1/32 (9). Litton Das 73 (98), Zakir Hasan 51 (135), Taskin Ahmed 31 (46), and Noorul Hasan 31 (29) were good batting from the Bangladesh side. After this inning, Bangladesh set a target of 145 runs for India to win the second test match.

During the second inning, India loses 7 wickets in chasing the 145 runs and won the match by only 3 wickets with Bangladesh due to good batting by Ravichandran Ashwin 42* (62), Axar Patel 34 (69), and Shreyas Iyer 29* (46). Both Mehidy Hasan 5/63 (19), and Shakib Al Hasan 2/50 (14) were good bowling from the Bangladesh side.

Ravichandran Ashwin (IND) 4/71 & 2/66 & 42*was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting and bowling.
