During the first inning, Bangladesh was all out at only 150 runs due to great bowling by Kuldeep Yadav 5/40 (16), Mohammad Siraj 3/20 (13), Axar Patel 1/10 (8.5), and Umesh Yadav 1/33 (8). Both Mustafizur Rahim 28 (58) and Mehidy Hasan 25 (82) were good batting from the Bangladesh side. After the first inning, India leads by 254 runs with Bangladesh.

Zakir Hasan 100 (224), Shakib Al Hasan 84 (108), and Najmul Hossain Shanto 67 (156) were good batting from the Bangladesh side.

Kuldeep Yadav (IND), 5/40 & 40 & 3/73, was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling and also batting.
