India won the first test match by 188 runs with Bangladesh

In the first test match, India won the match by 188 runs with Bangladesh due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning the first test match, India leads (1-0) in the two-test matches series against Bangladesh.

Earlier, India won the toss and chose to bat first and made a huge score of 404/10 in the first inning due to great batting by Cheteshwar Pujara 90 (203), Shreyas Iyer 86 (192), Ravichandran Ashwin 58 (113), Rishabh Pant 46 (45), and Kuldeep Yadav 40 (114). Mehidy Hasan 4/112 (31.5), Taijul Islam 4/133 (46), Khaled Ahmed 1/43 (20), and Ebadot Hossain 1/70 (21) were good bowling from the Bangladesh side.

During the first inning, Bangladesh was all out at only 150 runs due to great bowling by Kuldeep Yadav 5/40 (16), Mohammad Siraj 3/20 (13), Axar Patel 1/10 (8.5), and Umesh Yadav 1/33 (8). Both Mustafizur Rahim 28 (58) and Mehidy Hasan 25 (82) were good batting from the Bangladesh side. After the first inning, India leads by 254 runs with Bangladesh.

In the second inning, India scored 258/2 due to great centuries by Shubham Gill 110 (152), and Cheteshwar Pujara 102* (130). Khaled Ahmed 1/51 (13), and Mehidy Hasan 1/82 (14) were good bowling from the Bangladesh side. After this inning, India set a huge target of 513 runs for Bangladesh to win the first test match.

During the second inning, Bangladesh was all out at only 324 runs and lose this match by 188 runs with India due to great bowling by Axar Patel 4/77(32.2), Kuldeep Yadav 3/73 (20), Mohammad Siraj 1/67 (19), Ravichandran Ashwin 1/75 (27), and Umesh Yadav 1/27 (15). Zakir Hasan 100 (224), Shakib Al Hasan 84 (108), and Najmul Hossain Shanto 67 (156) were good batting from the Bangladesh side.

Kuldeep Yadav (IND), 5/40 & 40 & 3/73, was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling and also batting.
