Zimbabwe won the match by 5 wickets with Scotland

In the last or 12th match of the qualifying match of the T20 World Cup 2022, Zimbabwe won the match by 5 wickets with Scotland due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning this match, Zimbabwe was placed at the top position in Group B with 4 points and a better run rate and is qualified for the Super 12 of the T 20 World Cup 2022. Ireland was already qualified in Group B for the Super 12 of the T20 World Cup 2022 by winning the match against West Indies. But Scotland was out of the T 20 World Cup 2022 by losing the match with Zimbabwe

Earlier, Scotland won the toss and chose to bat first thus Scotland first batted and made a low score of 132/6 in 20 overs due to good bowling by Tendai Chatara 2/14 (4), Richard Ngarava 2/28 (4), Sikandar Raza 1/20 (4), and Blessing Muzarabani 1/34 (4). George Munsey 54 (51), Calum MacLeod 25 (26), and Richie Berrington 13 (15) were good batting from the Scotland side. After this inning, Scotland set a low target of 133 runs in 20 overs for Zimbabwe to win this match.

During chasing, Zimbabwe loses 5 wickets, reached the target of 133 runs in 18.3 overs, and won the match by 5 wickets with Scotland due to good batting by Craig Ervine 58 (54), Sikandar Raza 40 (23), and Milton Shumba 11* (11). Josh Davey 2/16 (3), Mark Watt 1/19 (4), Brad Wheal 1/26 (4), and Michael Leask 1/36 (4) were good bowling from the Scotland side.

Sikandar Raza (ZIM), 1/20 (4) & 40 (23), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting and bowling.
