Earlier, UAE won the toss and chose to bat first thus UAE first batted and made a good score of 148/3 in 20 overs due to good batting by Muhammad Waseem 50 (41), CP Rizwan 43* (29), and Basil Hameed 25* (14). Ben Shikongo 1/8 (1), Bernard Scholtz 1/22 (4), and David Wiese 1/27 (4) were good bowling from the Namibian side. After this inning, UAE set a good target of 149 runs in 20 overs for Namibia to win this match.

During chasing, Namibia scored 141/8 in 20 overs and lose this match by 7 wickets with UAE due to good bowling by Basil Hameed 2/17 (3), Zahoor Khan 2/20 (4), Muhammad Waseem 1/16 (2), Palaniapan Meiappan 1/34 (4), and Junaid Siddiqui 1/35 (4). David Wiese 55 (36), Ruben Trumpelmann 25* (24), and Gerhard Erasmus 16 (18) were good batting from the Namibian side.
