It’s a very sad and shocking news for me that popular comedian, Raju Srivastava died on September 21, 2022, due to a severe heart attack during working out in the gym last month at an age of 58 in AIIMS, New Delhi He suffered a severe heart attack on August 10, 2022 that was admitted to an AIIMS hospital in New Delhi for 41 days. Before death, he lived with his wife and two children.

Introduction – Raju Srivastava also called as Satya Prakash Srivastava was an Indian comedian and is also known for Gajodhar.  He was born on December 25, 1963, in the city of Kanpur. Raju Srivastava married with Shikha from Lucknow on July 1, 1993. Now they have two children that name Ayushman and Antara. He was an Indian actor, comedian, and politician. Raju Srivastava participated in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge, finished as second runner-up, and was awarded the title of King of Comedy. He also participated in Big Boss season 3 and stayed for more than two months and was voted out on December 4, 2009. After that, he participated in the comedy show that name ‘Comedy Ka Maha Muqabalas’

Career – Raju Srivastava started his career in acting by doing small roles in Bollywood movies. After that, he had a part in the Rajshri Productions movie Maine Pyar Kiya and several other roles in many movies including Bombay to Goa, and Baazigar. Raju Srivastava also appeared as a comedian and actor in the movie Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. He participated in the Nach Baliye season 6with his wife which is couples dance show on Star Plus in the year 2013. Later, he also appeared on Comedy Nights with Kapil.

Political Career – Raju Srivastava received a ticket from Samajwadi Party for Kanpur Lok Sabha election in the year 2014. But he returned the ticket on March 11, 2014, and joined Bhartiya Janata Party on March 19, 2014. Later, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi was nominated as to be a part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. After that, he had been encouraging cleanliness through his events in several cities. Raju Srivastava made several music videos for encouraging cleanliness among common people all over the country. He also had shot several social service messages and TV commercials video for Swacha Bharat Abhiyaan.
