India won the first one-day match by 10 wickets with Zimbabwe

In the first one-day match, India won the match by 10 wickets with Zimbabwe due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning this match, India leads by (1-0) in the three one-day matches against Zimbabwe.

Earlier, India won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Zimbabwe first batted and was all out at only 189 runs in 40.3 overs due to great bowling by Axar Patel 3/24 (7.3), Deepak Chahar 3/27 (7), Prasidh Krishna 3/50 (8), and Mohammad Siraj 1/36 (8). Regis Chakabva 35 (51), Richard Ngarava 34 (42), and Brad Evans 33* (29) were good batting from the Zimbabwe side. After this inning, Zimbabwe set a target of 190 runs in 50 overs for India to win this match.

India chased the target in only 30.5 overs without losing any wicket and won the match by 10 wickets due to a great opening partnership by Shubham Gill 82* (72) and Shikhar Dhawan 81* (113). There are no bowlers who took any wicket of India from the Zimbabwe side.

Deepak Chahar (IND), 3/27 (7), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling.
