Lovepreet Singh won the bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022

It’s good news for our country that Lovepreet Singh won the 14th medal for India in the commonwealth games 2022 in Birmingham. He won the bronze medal in the men’s 109kg weightlifting with a total of 355 kg (163+192) kg in the ongoing commonwealth games 2022.

Lovepreet Singh started with a lift of 157kg in the first attempt that is followed by 161kg and 163kg in the snatch. In the clean and jerk, Lovepreet started a lift of 185kg in the first attempt. In the second attempt, he lifted 189kg and later 192kg in clean and jerk in the third attempt.

After winning this medal, he won the 9th medal in weightlifting at the commonwealth games 2022. So far India has won 14 medals including 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals, and ranks 6th position in the commonwealth games 2022.
