LSG won the match by 36 runs with MI

In the 37th match of IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the match by 36 runs with Mumbai Indians (MI) due to the great century by K.L. Rahul 103* (62). After winning this match, LSG was placed at the 4th position with 10 points in the IPL 2022 points table. MI has lost 8 consecutive matches and was placed at the 10th or last position with no points in the IPL 2022 points table.

Earlier MI won the toss and chose to bowl first thus LSG first batted and made a good score of 168/6 (20) due to good batted by K.L. Rahul 103* (62), Manish Pandey 22 (22), and Ayush Badoni 14 (11). Kieron Pollard 2/8 (2), Riley Meredith 2/40 (4), and Jasprit Bumrah 1/31 (4) were good bowling from the MI side. After this inning, LSG set a target of 169 runs in 20 overs for MI to win this match.

During chasing, MI only scored 132/8 (20) and lose this match by 36 runs with LSG due to great bowled by Krunal Pandya 3/19 (4), Ayush Badoni 1/6 (1), and Mohsin Khan 1/27 (4). Rohit Sharma 39 (31), Tilak Varma 38 (27), and Kieron Pollard 19 (20) were good batting from the MI side.

K.L. Rahul (LSG), 103* (62), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
