After this inning, MI set a target of 162runs in 20 overs for KKR to win the fourteenth match of IPL 2022.

During chasing, KKR loses 5 wickets, reached the target of 162 runs in only 16 overs, and won the match by 5 wickets with MI due to great batted by Pat Cummins 56* (15), Venkatesh Iyer 50* (41), and Sam Billings 17 (12). Both Murugan Ashwin 2/25 (3), and Tymal Mills 2/38 (3) were good bowling from the MI side.
