In the sixth match of IPL 2022, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the match by 3 wickets with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) due to great performance in bowling.

Earlier RCB won the toss and chose to bowl first thus KKR first batted and made a low score of 128/10 (18.5) due to great bowled by Wanindu Hasaranga 4/20 (4), Akash Deep 3/45 (3.5), Harshal Patel 2/11 (4), and Mohammad Siraj 1/25 (4). Andre Russell 25 (18), Umesh Yadav 18 (12), and Sam Billings 14 (15) were good batting from the KKR side. After this inning, KKR set a target of 129 runs in 20 overs for RCB to win the sixth match of IPL 2022.

During chasing, RCB loses 7 wickets, reached the target in 19.2 overs, and won the close match by 3 wickets with KKR due to good batted by Sherfane Rutherford 28 (40), Shahbaz Ahmed 27 (20), David Willey 18 (28), Dinesh Karthik 14 (7), and Harshal Patel 10 (6). Tim Southee 3/20 (4), Umesh Yadav 2/16 (4), and Sunil Narine 1/12 (4) from the KKR side.

Wanindu Hasaranga (RCB), 4/20 (4), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling.
