Types of sleep apnea – There are three main types of sleep apnea are given below –
- Obstructive sleep apnea – It is one of the most common forms of sleep apnea which occurs when throat muscle relaxes.
- Central sleep apnea – This type of sleep apnea occurs when your brain does not send proper signals to the muscles which control breathing.
- Complex sleep apnea syndrome – This type of sleep apnea is also called as treatment-emergent central sleep apnea that occurs if any individuals are suffering from both central sleep apnea and obstructive sleep apnea.
