South Africa won the second test match by 7 wickets with India

In the second test match, South Africa won the second test match by 7 wickets against India due to great performance in batting and bowling.

Earlier India won the toss and chose to bat first and made a low score of 202/10 due to great bowled by Marco Jansen 4/31 (17), Duanne Olivier 3/64 (17), and Kagiso Rabada 3/64 (17.1).  Both K.L. Rahul 50 (133), and Ravichandran Ashwin 46 (50) were good batting from the Indian side.

In the first inning, South Africa was all out at 229/10 due to great bowled by Shardul Thakur 7/61 (17.5), and Mohammad Shami 2/52 (21). Keegan Petersen 62 (118), and Temba Bavuma 51 (60) were good batting from the South African side. After this inning, South Africa lead by 27 runs against India in the second test match.

During the second inning, the whole Indian team was all out at 266 runs due to great bowled by Lungi Ngidi 3/43 (10.1), Marco Jansen 3/67 (17), and Kagiso Rabada 3/77 (20). Ajinkya Rahane 58 (78), Cheteshwar Pujara 53 (86), and Hanuma Vihari 40 (84), and Shardul Thakur 28 (24) were good batting from the Indian side. India set the target of 237 for South Africa to win the second test match.

In the second inning, South chased successfully the target, made 243/3, and won the match by 7 wickets with India due to great batted by Dean Elgar 96* (188), Rassie van der Dussen 40 (92), Aiden Markram 31 (38), and Temba Bavuma 23* (45). Ravichandran Ashwin 1/26 (11.4), Shardul Thakur 1/47 (16), and Mohammad Shami 1/55 (17) were taking one wicket each from the Indian side.

Due to his great performance in batting, Dean Elgar 96* (188), was declared as the Player of the Match in the second test match.
