Earlier South Africa won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Bangladesh first batted and made a very low score of 84/10 (18.2) due to great bowled by Anrich Nortje 3/8 (3.2), Kagiso Rabada 3/20 (4), and Tabraiz Shamsi 2/21 (4). Mahedi Hasan 27 (25), and Liton Das 24 (36) were good batted from the Bangladesh side.
During chasing, South Africa loses 4 wickets and won the match easily by 6 wickets with Bangladesh due to good batted by Temba Bavuma 31* (28), Rassie van der Dussen 22 (27), and Quinton de Kock 16 (15). Taskin Ahmed 2/18 (4), Mahedi Hasan 1/19 (2.3), and Nasum Ahmed 1/22 (2) were good bowled from the Bangladesh side.
Due to his great performance in bowling, Kagiso Rabada (SA) 3/20 (4), was declared as the Player of the Match.
