During chasing, Pakistan loses 5 wickets, reached the target of 135 in 18.4 overs, and won the match by 5 wickets with New Zealand due to good batted by Mohammad Rizwan 33 (34), Asif Ali 27* (12), and Shoaib malik 26* (20). Ish Sodhi 2/28 (4), Tim Southee 1/25 (4), and Trent Boult 1/29 (4) were good bowling from the New Zealand side.
Due to his great performance in bowling, Haris Rouf (PAK) 4/22 (4), was declared as the Player of the Match.
