In the 12^th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2021, Sri Lanka won the match by 8 wickets with the Netherlands due to great performance in bowling.

Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Netherlands first batted and was all out at only 44/10 (10) due to great bowled by Lahiru Kumara 3/7 (3), Wanindu Hasaranga 3/9 (3), Maheesh Theekshana 2/3 (1), and Dushmantha Chameera 1/13 (2). Colin Ackermann 11 (9), made the highest run from the Netherlands side.

During chasing, Sri Lanka loses two wickets and won the match easily by 8 wickets with the Netherlands due to good batted by Kusal Perera 33* (24). Both Brandon Glover 1/12 (3), and Paul van Meekeren 1/20 (2) took one wicket from the Netherlands side.

Due to his great performance in bowling, Lahiru Kumara (SL) 3/7 (3), was declared as the Player of the Match.
