In the 4th match of ICC T 20 World Cup 2021, Sri Lanka won the match by 7 wickets with Namibia due to great performance in bowling.
Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Namibia first batted and made a very low score of 96/10 (19.3) due to great bowled by Maheesh Theekshana 3/25 (4), Lahiru Kumara 2/9 (3.3), and Wanindu Hasaranga 2/24 (4). Craig Williams 29 (36), Gerhard Erasmus 20 (19), and JJ Smit 12*(15) were good batted from the Namibia side.
During chasing, Sri Lanka lose three wickets and won the match easily by 7 wickets with Namibia due to good batted by Bhanuka Rajapaksa 42* (27), and Avishka Fernando 30* (28). Both JJ Smit 1/7 (1), and Bernard Scholtz 1/16 (3) were good bowled from the Namibia side.
Due to great performance in batting, Maheesh Theekshana (SL) 3/25 (4), was declared as the Player of the Match.
